Arctic Monkeys have completed recording their third album in Brooklyn, New York.
The as yet untitled LP - the follow to 2007's Favourite Worst Nightmare - is expected to be released this year.
Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders confirmed the news in a self-recorded video posted on YouTube.
As previously reported Arctic Monkeys will headline this year's Reading and Leeds festivals alongside Radiohead and Kings Of Leon.

In the video Matt Helders also travels to Miami in a weekend break from studio sessions to meet rapper P Diddy - a self-proclaimed fan of the Sheffield band.
P Diddy says: "I'm the newest member of the Arctic Monkeys, I'm not going to be singing, I'm not going to be playing any instruments but I'm part of the crew."
Helders goes on to explain that he and Diddy "got on like a house on fire".
