Armstrong reveals split reasons

Lance Armstrong has spoken about the reasons behind his break-up with Sheryl Crow.

The cyclist said pressure from the singer's ticking biological clock put too much pressure on the relationship.

The couple announced their engagement in 2005, when Sheryl was 43, but split five months later.

In a book title Lance, the cyclist told author John Wilcockson that it was after the engagement that the relationship began to break down.

He said: "She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn't want that, but I didn't want that at that time because I had gotten out of a marriage, I'd just had kids."

"Yet we're up against her biological clock - that pressure is what cracked it."
