Matt Lucas is as funny off-screen as he is on, according to his co-star Sean Maguire.
The pair star in the new fantasy-comedy TV show, Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire.
Former EastEnders actor Sean said Matt was "fantastic - he's just a joy.
"He's as funny off-screen as he is on-screen and the nicest guy you could ever hope to meet."
The show was first broadcast in the US earlier this year and Sean said the Americans were enjoying the humour of the Little Britain comic.
"I think it's going to be a little harder for them to get used to than England but yeah, it's doing very well, thank God, so we just hope that it does even better at home."
He said he was about to cross the pond to launch the show in the UK, where it will air on BBC2.
Speaking after the BritWeek celebrity football match in LA, Sean said he "loved" living in Tinseltown.
"It's home now, you know - it's been nearly ten years. It's still a novelty though, I still love it. It's exciting and I still love the sunshine," he added
